Nearly 100 Years Ago, Orville Cox settled on a small piece of acreage in rural Idaho. Back then, homesteading meant farming, and farming required beekeeping to support the vitality of the crops. Our great, great grandfather noticed his honeycombs were dripping with honey and the hives were outpacing his fields, so he set up a little roadside stand and began selling his honey. Soon, Cox's Honey was born, and then, as now, the family maintains the same hands-on, love for the bees that focuses on flavor and preserving the inherent healthful benefits honey provides.

We continue to use the high-touch and personal processes Orville put in place. We take joy in hand-filling, testing, and tasting our honey to ensure quality. Staying true to our family traditions has always been our driving force. Our honey is 100% real, with no additives, preservatives, or artificial flavors. It is U.S. Grade A White, sourced from clover flowers, with a sweet and pleasantly mild taste. We do not mix our real honey with foreign honey.

Our raw honey is pure and unprocessed, straight from the hive, carefully strained by a gravity-fed tradition to remove any stray particles or debris like beeswax and dead bees. We do not force our honey through filters (known as ultrafiltration). Our process is careful and delicate to preserve all the benefits of raw honey, which is alive with healthy pollen, live enzymes, vitamins, and phytonutrients.

Cox's Honey has been farmed, packaged, and distributed with integrity, consistency, and family traditions since 1927. With meaningful transparency in our process, we hold ourselves accountable. Our honey products include 32 oz, 5 lb, and 12 lb jars of raw honey, as well as 40 oz, 5 lb, and 12 lb jars of creamed honey.
