The plants themselves can reach a towering 6 feet tall and spread 18 inches wide, producing roughly 20 rows of tightly packed kernels that range in color from creamy yellow to golden yellow. Peaches and Cream Corn is ready for harvesting in just 80 to 85 days, making it a quick and rewarding summer crop.

Corn, though now a staple food, was not originally meant to thrive in the wild. In fact, it was developed by humans in Mexico over 7,000 years ago, evolving from the distant relative 'teosinte,' a wild grass with sparsely spaced kernels. Through selective breeding over the centuries, corn has become the familiar cob we know today, with its densely packed rows of kernels.

Unlike GMOs (Genetically Modified Organisms), hybrids are created through the natural process of cross-pollinating two plants of the same species. This allows breeders to select for desirable traits like disease resistance, flavor, and time to harvest.

For best results, sow the Peaches and Cream Corn seeds directly into your garden after the last frost, planting them 1/2 to 1 inch deep. The plants prefer warm, well-drained, nitrogen-rich soil and full sun. Water daily until germination, which typically occurs in 7 to 14 days.
