The majority of our seeds are Heirloom and Non-GMO.

The name "Isla's Garden Seeds" was chosen because Isla, the youngest in our family, is the anchor for the six of us, filling our home with a playful, vibrant, and colorful joy, akin to a garden. If you've purchased seeds since the formation of our business in 2017, you may have received a rare packet with her photo on the front.

The Ambrosia is a wonderful hybrid corn boasting delicious sweet flavor in every bite! It's a fantastic addition to your home garden, growing into full-size corn plants with stalks yielding delicious Yellow Bi-Color Corn. It's so much fun to have corn in your own backyard, great for that missing dinner side dish! The seeds are also great for planting in the garden or storing in a seed safe for emergencies.

Ambrosia Corn can be grown in Hardiness Zones 3-11, with a planting depth of 1-2 inches, plant spacing of 4 inches, and row spacing of 30 inches. It has a mounding growth habit and prefers a soil pH level of 6 to 6.5, with rich soil being the best. It thrives in warmer temperatures and full sun, but is susceptible to slugs, snails, and cabbage root maggots.
